Cambridge
Cambridge sits on the River Cam in the east of England, just over 50 miles north of London and 95 miles east of Birmingham. Located in the county of Cambridgeshire, Cambridge is west of Suffolk and Norfolk, with Essex to the south east and Bedfordshire to the west. Cambridge is the county town of Cambridgeshire and was granted city status in 1951. Despite not having a cathedral, Cambridge was made a city due to its rich history and contribution to the UK economy. Cambridge is frequently named among the best UK towns and cities to live.
With great employment opportunities, superb transport links and beautiful countryside right on the doorstep, it’s easy to see why Cambridge’s popularity continues to soar.
Huntingdon and Godmanchester
Living in Huntingdon provides a unique blend of historical charm and modern conveniences. Nestled on the banks of the River Great Ouse, this vibrant market town is brimming with attractive features. St Neots and Little Paxton
One of the largest towns in Cambridgeshire, St. Neots has population of around 35,000. The centrepiece of the Town is the old Market Square, which hosts fortnightly farmers markets, seasonal events, and is surrounded by fine Georgian buildings and a good choice of restaurants and pubs. Located just off the A1 and a few miles from the A14, by car both London and Birmingham are just an hour drive away; whilst Cambridge, Bedford, Milton Keynes and Peterborough are under a 30 minute drive. St Neots train station is on the London-Edinburgh East Coast Mainline. For commuters to London, St Neots is very popular – providing 4 trains an hour, which take 40 minutes during morning and evening rush hour (53mins at other times).
